Triple Fruit Chia Spice Tea

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Infusion Time: 4+ hours (or overnight)
Servings: 4-6 cups

Ingredients:

  • 2-3 tbsp chia seeds
  • 4-6 Bengal Spice tea bags (or 3-4 tbsp loose tea)
  • 6 cups water
  • 2-3 tbsp raspberry juice
  • 2-3 tbsp peach juice
  • 1-2 tbsp pomegranate juice
  • Ice for serving

Instructions:

  • Place chia seeds in a tea ball or fine mesh strainer.
  • Brew Bengal Spice tea hot with 6 cups water. Remove tea bags/strainer after 5-7 minutes.
  • Add chia seeds (in tea ball/strainer) to hot tea and refrigerate 4+ hours or overnight.
  • Remove chia seeds and reserve for other uses (great stirred into jam or yogurt!).
  • Stir fruit juices into the chia-infused tea.
  • Serve over ice and enjoy cold.

Notes:

  • Adjust fruit juice amounts to taste preference
  • The longer you infuse the chia, the more subtle nutty flavor you'll get
  • Tea keeps refrigerated for 3-4 days
  • Save those plumped chia seeds - they're full of fiber and nutrients!
