Because I created a book from the work up until chapter nine, I've placed all those older outlines into a different spot. To read them, please go here:
I also moved the outlines I called "outlines2" into that same file. As such, I'm going to go ahead and create a new outline with the current intended plan right here starting with Chapter Ten...
We ended chapter nine with Xav leaving Glory in her room saying she can figure out how to use her own shower. One idea I had was to show her enjoying that shower, but really it doesn't work in that spot because we're trying to move forward into the next part of the book. Also, I decided Regulus won't use 'water jets' to bath, just vapor jets since they'd want to conserve their water a bit. I want that we see the Captains of the other ships to return and all crew to get ready for the trip through the wormhole and all that. But what needs to happen here is that we understand a few things.
First, how many ships are gathering over the three days, and how many cryotanks in total need to be prepped before they can all safely go through? We need to worldbuild all these Nautilus ships, the crews, and the equipments other than the cryotanks that Glory will have to become familiar with.
Second, it's time to decide if Xav is her mentor, or if there's a tech person who will want to show her the ropes. My vote is for Xav, but he can't be with her the whole time so clearly there will need to be another person to show her stuff as well. I'm thinking a woman, but not Kurana because she'll be busy with navigation and flight prep stuff...though they may need to collaborate somewhere in there.
Knowing that there are supposed to be two weeks until they decide to enter the wormhole, there are a couple things we could do with that. The Captains all return within just three days, so I think we should have a virtual dinner...they're each on their own ships, but dine together as holograms.
Xav warns Glory that these men will be very curious about her, but he wants her to observe as much as possible rather than telling them much about herself. "Don't give them any sort of ammunition they could use on you sometime later. These guys are total gossip hounds, and they also have reputations with the ladies. They'll definitely try to see if they could seduce you, so be careful of that."
I still want to get in that part where she's in the solar shower dreaming of water, but maybe it should get tagged onto the end of the dinner chapter...maybe in response to Xav whispering something in her ear about how one of the Captains had been staring down her cleavage the whole time...not that he could blame the man...and leave her wishing for water because she'd heard it's a great way to enhance slaking the tension he'd caused.
All of this speculation, however, tells me that I have work to do before I can make a working outline. Instead, this is an outline idea so I know what kinds of stuff I should go worldbuild in order to make such an outline work...
Dummy outline so I know what to worldbuild
X. Third day, Xav tells Glory about the impending Captains Return Dinner they'll be hosting virtually later.
A. first and foremost, explain away the three days with the fact Xav was so busy working he had to assign Glory a MENTOR to start explaining all the systems and equipment on board that she needs to familiarize herself with.
*I'm thinking MENTOR should be an older man, a techo who has worked with Xav since his father was still in charge. He claims he's 180 years old but doesn't look a day over 60.
B. Xav comes in to see that they are going over how to use the holo computer to check the systems on all four Nautilus ships so they'd know where any problems were before they went out to inspect them.
1. Xav mentions that might be true, but when it came time to prep the cryotanks they needed to make sure each one got visually inspected before giving the all-clear
2. He then explains that tonight there will be a special Captains Return Dinner held virtually in the officer's mess, and he's placed a special dress on her bed
3. "At dinner tonight, remember that all the captains will be extremely curious about you. Careful what you say to them, they're probably going to try to seduce you so everything you tell them might easily get turned around
again later for that purpose. If I were you, I'd mostly just observe until you have a better idea what's really going on."
C. Glory prepares for dinner
1. Cut away to Glory finding a gold cocktail dress lying on her bed. She heads for the solar shower, briefly wondering what a shower that used water would actually feel like.
2. Once the dress is on she smirks in the mirror as she notices a plunging neckline...not so low she'd be embarrassed, but much more grown-up than anything she's worn before.
*Note that if Glory had brought along an item from home...a necklace rather than a medal...that she ought to wear it here. This presents a need to go back into her packing scene and ensure such a necklace gets shown and that we
know who gave it to her...her dad for graduation?
XI. Captains Return Dinner...Xav's POV
A. When Glory walks into the officer's mess hall it's been transformed into a fine restaurant setting. Xav ogles as Kurana and Reagan lead her over to the captain's table, where they've been invited to eat as well.
1. CAP1, CAP2, and CAP3 all appear as holograms at the meal, all on one side of the table, and all just as curious as Xav predicted.
*If we're introducing the presence of holograms of people into this part of the story, there are a few things to know.
*First, this is Gamlin tech that Glory would have never seen before, so he'd probably be amused that she's a little weirded out when she first meets these men and isn't sure how to greet them without being able to shake hands.
CAP1, the one I'm planning to make flirty, will help her out by demonstratively bowing his head in greeting, which she will copy. Remember, though, she'd just been working with the hologram computer as a ships-wide diagnostic tool,
so she won't be completely unfamiliar with the hologram concept even though Regulus didn't have it.
*Second, must decide at this point if they are all humans or if there might be aliens among them, and how she might react assuming before this she'd only ever seen humans. Regulus is 'backwater' area so there's a lot of stuff she
has yet to encounter, and I'm thinking aliens might be on that list. But if there are aliens we need to worldbuild each type of alien and where it came from when introducing them into the story, so maybe easier not to? If there
are aliens, though, I think CAP1 should be one of them, or maybe even the only one there? Still thinking about it.
*Third, note that I say there are three Captains present here, which assumes three other ships. Need to make sure the number is consistent anywhere it has been mentioned before.
*Fourth, and more importantly, those ships and the number of crewmen on each must be worldbuilt so we know how many cryotanks she must visually examine...this will be discussed further in that file.
2. Despite Xav's warning, CAP1 manages to convince Glory to regale them with the tale of how it was growing up on Regulus Prime, a world with no breathable atmosphere.
B. Glory's story
1. Glory keeps her commentary mostly about the world rather than herself. She does mention that her mother was an elite who had married a miner though.
2. When she's done this, Xav gives her knee a little squeeze under the table and casts her a little smile. "Well, then, gentlemen, shall we not talk shop and let this poor girl actually have a chance to eat her meal?"
XII. Prepping the Cryotanks
A. Before they can go into the wormhole and then journey to Gamlin Space Station on the other side, they must ensure the safety of each crew member while they are in cryo
1. As part of the prep work Glory has to go to each of the three ships to visually inspect. Xav insists on going with her
*If there's intership travel, must determine if using shuttles or if a transporter should be introduced. I'm leaning toward shuttles because I don't want it to be easy to get down to a world, nor do I want them to be able to
simply get transportered back when their shuttle goes down and they have to walk back to a plantation on the one world where they have sex the first time. What I want is that the guy doesn't have the needed part so they have to
hike back to a farm and stay a few days while they wait for the thing to be delivered.
*However, there's also the possibility that they could link the ships to one another with portable tunnels while they are in a 'quadrillic configuration' so that it's effectively one larger community until they have to disconnect
during their time in the wormhole, which is what I'm currently leaning toward.
2. Xav gets called back to main ship while she's on CAP1's ship, and the guy comes in to attempt to flirt with her as she works. Glory does her best to be polite but she's not interested because she's already crushing on Xav
B. He teases her about ignoring his innuendo
1. "Did you get Xav to hire you because you're into him?"
2. "I never met him before the day of my interview. Would you mind, I'm trying to do my job right now, not discuss my personal life with a complete stranger."
3. "Okay, sure, I know when I'm not wanted," he says with a wink. "Have fun with your sexy employer."
XIII. Tanking up
A. Flirty time with Xav as he puts her into cryo
1. Tells her they don't thaw out until they are on the final approach to the Gamlin Space Station.
2. Glory admits all her other attempts at cryo had been simulated. "I mean, I understand the concept, I just never...got naked and actually went into deep-freeze"
3. Xav tells her he's looking forward to enjoying all her firsts, the last thing she sees before she passes out is the meaningful smile he gives her.
*If we're placing people into these tanks we also should have fleshed out the appearance of them and said how they are supposed to work, so that's another thing that needs a worldbuild.
You need credit, but you can't seem to build it up. Maybe you just don't buy stuff, or maybe you had some trouble paying something off...
A credit builder loan helps because you are giving the loan to yourself. You put a little money each month in there and it gets reported to the bureaus.
After a couple of years, your loan 'matures' and you are able to receive a lump sum of your funds minus a fee. Self will also report this success.
As long as you pay each month and finish what you started, it will increase your credit score. Along the way, they have other products you also might like.
If you want to give it a try, please consider getting it using this link so I'll get credit...literally...lol!

Written as a companion guide for the Worldbuilding Workbook, you can grab this as an ebook, or better yet purchase the paperbacks together for a more hands-on experience. This companion book is meant to be a sort of instruction manual on how you use your workbook, but also contains suggestions on how to use a three ring binder and create a workbook of your own instead.
