Hi!

A Fun Spot

It seems like I've already cycled through most of my own books as sales lately, but I still wanted to put something of mine into a letter for you guys to enjoy, and I just realized that I haven't told you about my Facebook group in the newsletter.

RedShadow Fiction Writers and Readers fun spot is a rather eclectic place I put together for people to come discover weird things, wonderful things, or other thoughts that might pop into mine or their heads.

For example, I often find posts about animals that are uplifting or funny. I share funny comics or jokes or other posts just for a chuckle. I've also included tips on writing, and I have a running commentary in there about the work I did each week for those who care to follow along.

The intention of the group is to just sort of bring together anything that will help to awaken a reader or writer's mind so they can feel a bit lighter as they move on with the rest of their day. If that sounds interesting please stop by and join. We'd love to have you there.

A Call for ARCs and Reviews

I'd like to tell everyone that I recently compiled all the Glory Star Project data from RedShadow and made it into a "part one" book, also adding in a few tips about writing that you won't find anywhere else.

You'll now be able to get it into your kindle or have a print copy created as you might prefer. This book also contains the first nine chapters of Glory Star, first shown as it was originally written, and then shown again in its "final" form so the reader can skim through and look for the changes as a sort of study project.

Granted, you would probably benefit from a print copy so you could use highlighter pens or page markers, but getting a copy on your kindle will allow you to enjoy reading the writer's notes and the first nine chapters without the need to be chained to my website the entire time. The blend of fiction and non-fiction makes this book a rather unique find.

The ebook will be on sale August 23rd thru 30th as a sort of a "launch", but I did wonder if any of you would be interested in getting a review copy from me ahead of that time.

The way that works is, I'll give you a free copy of the ebook to read as a gift with the hopeful expectation that you will go to amazon.com and leave a review on or before the 23rd, and maybe even purchase a 99 cent copy of the book just to help offer your support. Just let me know if you want in on it.

The more reviews a book has, the more likely it is that other readers will discover the thing, so it would be so wonderful if my readers could drop some reviews on this or my other books. I would be eternally grateful!

A Bit About My Books

Like I was saying, I've cycled through most of my books as sales over the last couple of months, but what I thought I might do is just create a reminder list of what those books are down below for those of you who have not seen them all or would like a convenient place to find them all without having to navigate to my books page on the RedShadow website. I'll first list those that are at the regular price above the Deals section, and then let you know about a few that I've decided to put on sale in the Deals section at the bottom so you can grab them if you like.

Please remember that you are always welcome to tell your friends about my books, my website, or the group I've just started whenever you like. Both the readers and the writers who might enjoy or benefit from my work. For convenience I will list the urls here, and you could either provide them to your peeps or even simply forward this newsletter since I've pretty much got every conceivable link about myself listed in here...

I would list Dragons of the Deep too, but it's not really ready for game play because I've been reworking it, so I'll leave it out for now.

Below is a list of books by Robin Joy Wirth. It is by no means the list of every book I've ever written since I've been freelancing for close to a decade now, but I signed non-disclosures on all of those...

Freebies and Deals

Out of my books, I've place a few into 99 cent kindle deals from August 11-18 in the US store:

Dragon's Eye
Promise Me the Moon
Space Wash

I suppose it's no coincidence that these three are the tamest ones I have other than FTC, which was just on sale last month. Enjoy!

Written as a companion guide for the Worldbuilding Workbook, you can grab this as an ebook, or better yet purchase the paperbacks together for a more hands-on experience. This companion book is meant to be a sort of instruction manual on how you use your workbook, but also contains suggestions on how to use a three ring binder and create a workbook of your own instead.
